Job Description
PRT Staffing is growing and we are looking for our next Onsite Operations Manager to support a large client in San Antonio! The Onsite Operations Manager plays a critical role in managing contingent workforce operations at our client location in San Antonio, TX. This role provides direct oversight of temporary employees, ensures client satisfaction, and serves as the on-site liaison between PRT Staffing, our workers, and client leadership. The Onsite Operations Manager is responsible for day-to-day workforce management, employee engagement, and ensuring smooth staffing operations. Key Responsibilities: Workforce Oversight & Employee Engagement
Supervise and support contingent workers on-site, serving as their first point of contact.
Monitor daily attendance, track call-outs/no-shows, and arrange coverage when needed.
Provide coaching, counseling, and performance feedback to employees.
Conduct employee check-ins to maintain engagement, retention, and safety compliance.
Recruiting, Sourcing & Onboarding Support
Partner closely with PRT Staffing’s centralized recruiting team to align hiring efforts with client needs.
Support sourcing and recruiting efforts by prescreening candidates and conducting interviews.
Assist with candidate selection and start scheduling in coordination with centralized recruiters.
Manage onboarding completion, including paperwork, compliance checks, and background verifications.
Verify I-9 documents, track safety/PPE compliance, and ensure workers are fully prepared for assignment.
Timesheet, Payroll & Client System Management
Review and approve employee timesheets within client systems to ensure accuracy.
Resolve payroll discrepancies quickly to maintain timely and accurate pay.
Communicate with payroll and internal operations teams regarding missing or incorrect time entries.
Client Relationship Management
Serve as the on-site liaison between PRT Staffing and client supervisors.
Provide workforce status updates and resolve day-to-day issues promptly.
Partner with client leadership to forecast staffing needs and maintain service levels.
Qualifications
2–3 years of experience in staffing supervision, on-site workforce management, or HR operations.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to build trust with both employees and client stakeholders.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, ATS systems, and client workforce systems preferred.
Bilingual in English/Spanish strongly preferred but not required.
