Construction Laborer Job DescriptionPosition Summary: Construction Laborers perform a variety of physical tasks to support construction projects and ensure job sites operate efficiently, safely, and productively.Key Responsibilities:
Site Preparation: Assist with preparing job sites by removing debris, digging (excluding trenching), backfilling, and compacting soil.
Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment to designated areas on-site.
Trade Support: Provide assistance to skilled tradespeople such as electricians, plumbers, and other craft workers as needed.
Site Maintenance & Safety: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by performing general cleanup and adhering to safety standards.
Safety Compliance: Properly wear and maintain required personal protective equipment (PPE), including hard hats, gloves, face masks, ear protection, and safety glasses.
Additional Duties: Perform other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by supervisors.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, squat, climb, crouch, push, pull, and crawl for extended periods.
Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Capable of working in various weather conditions and physically demanding environments.
