Entry-Level Material Handler – 2nd ShiftLocation: Vonore, TN 37885 Pay Rate: $15.50 per hour **Training Provided** Schedule-IMPORTANT • 12-hour rotating shifts. • Day Shift: 6:30 AM – 6:45 PM • Employees must be available to work rotating schedules, overtime, weekends, and additional hours as business needs require. PRT Staffing is looking for dependable, detail-oriented Material Handler to join a growing manufacturing team in Vonore, TN. Essential Job Functions Employees may be assigned to one or more of the following duties: • Perform visual quality inspections of automotive glass products throughout various stages of production. • Inspect glass for defects, damage, scratches, chips, contamination, and other quality concerns. • Lift and position glass onto production lines or machinery. • Remove finished glass products from production lines and place them onto designated storage or shipping racks. • Supply production lines with materials as required. • Work directly alongside manufacturing personnel to maintain production flow. • Follow standardized work instructions and quality specifications. • Maintain production records or documentation as required. • Report quality concerns, equipment issues, or safety hazards to supervision immediately. • Maintain clean and organized work areas in accordance with plant standards. • Perform additional production or inspection duties as assigned. Work Environment • Manufacturing and production facility. • Fast-paced production environment with continuous movement. • Employees work around moving production equipment and conveyors. • Exposure to industrial noise levels requiring hearing protection. • Temperature may vary depending on production area. • Safety PPE is required at all times. Physical Requirements Employees must be able to: • Stand and walk for up to 12 hours per shift. • Frequently bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and twist. • Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 25 pounds. • Repetitively handle automotive glass throughout the shift. • Perform repetitive upper body movements. • Maintain visual focus and attention to detail for extended periods. • Possess 20/20 vision, with or without corrective lenses, sufficient to identify product defects. • Safely perform work while wearing required personal protective equipment. Minimum Qualifications • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. • Strong attention to detail. • Reliable attendance and punctuality. • Ability to maintain production pace while meeting quality standards. • Professional attitude and commitment to workplace safety. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
