Lift Truck OperatorLocation: Lynden, WA Schedule: 10am - 6pm M-F Work Environment: Temperature-controlled (cold storage) Position OverviewWe are seeking a Lift Truck Operator to support morning warehouse operations. This role focuses on safely moving, loading, unloading, and storing product while maintaining accuracy, productivity, and safety standards in a fast-paced, temperature-controlled warehouse. This position is ideal for candidates seeking consistent morning hours with a shorter daily shift. Key Responsibilities
Load and unload freight using warehouse equipment
Scan product and place inventory in proper storage locations
Move, stack, and store merchandise safely and efficiently
Pick and assemble orders for shipment
Check freight for accuracy, damage, or infestation
Perform labeling, wrapping, packing, and repacking as needed
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
Report equipment or safety issues immediately
Follow attendance, safety, and OSHA guidelines
Equipment Used
Stand-up forklifts
Stand-up straddle trucks
Walk-behind equipment
Pallet jacks and double pallet jacks
RF (radio frequency) scanning equipment
Qualifications
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors
High school diploma or GED preferred
At least 1 year of warehouse or lift-truck experience preferred
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, sit, and use hands to operate equipment
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
Comfortable working in a cold-storage environment
