Machine Operator Excellent Opportunity with PRT Staffing: Temp-To-Hire Schedule Options (Rotating 3-Day Workweek) • Mon/Tue/Wed or Thur/Fri/Sat • Day Shift: 7:45 AM – 8:00 PM • Night Shift: 7:45 PM – 8:00 AM Pay Rate: • $17.00 – $18.70 Position Summary The Machine Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring printing press equipment to ensure high-quality output, accurate color matching, and efficient production flow. This role includes maintaining equipment, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and ensuring safety and quality standards are consistently met. Essential Job Duties
As an Associate, your job duties will include but are not limited to:
Operate printing press machinery safely and efficiently.
Perform color matching to meet production and customer quality standards.
Troubleshoot press-related mechanical and operational problems.
Provide technical direction, feedback, and assistance to team members.
Coordinate and maintain production schedules and documentation.
Keep accurate records of equipment maintenance and press run data.
Handle, sort, and store chemicals and hazardous materials according to safety procedures.
Follow all safety guidelines, including PPE usage and lockout/tagout procedures. Additional Responsibilities • Set up printing press for production runs, including adjustments, calibration, and material loading. • Perform routine quality checks on printed materials. • Keep the work area clean, organized, and hazard-free. • Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production goals and deadlines. Qualifications Required: • High school diploma or GED. • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs. • Attention to detail and commitment to quality. • Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Preferred: • Background in printing, packaging, or manufacturing. • Fast-paced production setting with exposure to machinery, moving parts, and chemicals.• Ability to interpret work orders, color standards, and technical instructions. • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. • PPE required (e.g., gloves, goggles, hearing protection). #PRTF
