Position SummaryPRT Staffing is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Ink Room Technician to support manufacturing operations. This position plays a key role in maintaining ink quality, color accuracy, production efficiency, and a safe, well-organized ink room environment.Key Responsibilities
Mix inks according to required formulas and perform color matching
Troubleshoot ink-related issues and make press-side material adjustments
Retain wet samples and prepare drawdowns
Approve ink formulations prior to issuance to production
Organize and prioritize ink room operations based on production schedules
Provide technical direction, feedback, and assistance to staff
Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance
Store, use, and dispose of chemicals and hazardous materials in accordance with established procedures
Coordinate with Plant Manager, Production Supervisor, team leads, and other employees
Fill in other areas of the Ink Room Department as needed
Contribute to a safe, secure, and team-oriented work environment
Perform additional duties as assigned
Skills & Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Ability to read, write, and speak English
Strong verbal communication and problem-solving skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
