Cold Storage Warehouse Associate – $17/hr | Temp-to-Hire | Full-TimeHartford, CT | M–F | 7:00 AM Start | Cooler Environment (45–55°F) We’re hiring dependable, hardworking warehouse associates for a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity in a refrigerated facility. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a physical, fast-paced environment and is committed to safety, consistency, and teamwork. Schedule & Pay:
Shift: Monday – Friday
Start Time: 7:00 AM – until the job is completed (~3:30–4:00 PM)
Overtime: Applies daily until work is complete
Pay Rate: Up to $17.00/hour
Job Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire (based on attendance & performance)
Work Environment:
Cooler storage facility: 45–55°F temperature
Non-climate-controlled – warm layers recommended
Steel-toe boots required (voucher provided upon conversion)
Job Duties:
Select, pack, and stage raw product for outbound orders
Palletize finished boxes and ensure accurate stacking
Maintain cleanliness of storage areas and workstations
Remove empty boxes and trash to reduce hazards
Follow all safety protocols and wear proper PPE at all times
Team-lift items up to 60 lbs as needed
Stand, bend, and move throughout full shift
Requirements:
Must be OK with or have experience in cold environments (40–50°F)
Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs (team lifting allowed)
Must own or be willing to wear steel-toe boots
Clear communication and ability to follow instructions
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Experience in warehouse or packing environments preferred
