Inventory Control Specialist Location: Jessup, Maryland Pay: Up to $19.00 per hour Schedule: Monday – Friday | 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM Interviews: In-person We are seeking an experienced Inventory Control Specialist for a finance-focused warehouse role in Jessup, MD. This position requires strong inventory accuracy skills, Microsoft Excel proficiency, and the ability to work in Dry, Cooler, and Freezer environments. Key Responsibilities • Maintain integrity of physical inventory through cycle counts and audits • Conduct full warehouse cycle counts at least four times per year (pick and reserve slots) • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and packaging integrity issues • Monitor FIFO rotation and ensure proper stock management • Research shrinkage and weight variances • Review management reports and analyze inventory data • Coordinate will-call orders and serve as Will-Call Clerk when scheduled • Initiate and document product transfers between cooler and freezer • Verify reserve pallet counts and ensure accurate put-away and transfer processes Qualifications • High School Diploma or equivalent required • Minimum 1–2 years of inventory control experience preferred • Strong Microsoft Excel and data entry skills required • Ability to work in Dry, Cooler, and Freezer environments • Strong math skills and analytical ability • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently • Strong problem-solving and attention to detail This role requires a candidate who is detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working in multiple temperature-controlled warehouse environments.
