Equipment Operator – Order Selector (3rd Shift) – $17/hr – Orlando, FL 32809Temp-to-Hire | Stand-Up Equipment Only | Double Electric Pallet Jack Required
PRT Staffing is hiring experienced Equipment Operators / Order Selectors for a major distribution facility in Orlando, FL. These are temp-to-perm positions with long-term opportunities for dependable, skilled workers.
Shift & Schedule3rd Shift: Sunday–Thursday
Hours: 6:00 PM – 2:00 AM
âž¡ Must be willing to stay 1–2 hours past shift end when workload requires (occasional OT).
Pay Rate: $17.00/hour
Important RequirementsTo be considered, candidates MUST meet the following:
  • 2–4 years experience operating a DOUBLE ELECTRIC PALLET JACK
  • Experience operating a High Reach / Reach Truck
  • Stand-up equipment only (No sit-down forklift)

Experience MUST be shown in job history, not just listed under “Skills.”
Work History Requirements
  • No unexplained gaps in employment
    • If gaps exist, resume must list the reason (school, caregiver, relocation, seasonal work, etc.)
Physical Requirements
  • Able to lift 50 lbs repeatedly
  • Team lifting for heavier items
  • Able to work in a fast-paced production environment
Work Environment
  • Dry goods warehouse (Hotel amenities distribution)
  • Not a freezer environment
  • Production-driven pace
  • Additional general warehouse tasks as needed
Job ResponsibilitiesThis role is responsible for selecting and staging customer orders using stand-up warehouse equipment.Daily Tasks Include:
  • Operate an electric pallet jack or reach truck safely
  • Hand-select orders from floor and upper rack locations
  • Use SOS label technology to generate and apply labels correctly
  • Build and palletize product according to proper stacking procedures
    • Labels facing out
    • No heavy-on-light
    • Secure pallets to prevent tipping
  • Deliver completed pallets to the correct dock locations
  • Stretch-wrap pallets for loading
  • Perform pre/post trip equipment inspections
  • Follow all Safe work methods and warehouse sanitation guidelines
  • Work until all orders are completed (including occasional OT, holidays, or weekends)
