Press Brake Operator – Set-Up | $28–$32/hr | 2nd Shift | $2,000 Sign-On BonusRochester, NY | On-Site | 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM$2,000 Sign-On Bonus + Top Pay for Experienced Operators! We are hiring skilled Press Brake Operators with strong set-up experience for full-time openings on B Shift. This is a permanent, long-term role in a clean, stable sheet metal fabrication shop. What You’ll Do:
Set up and operate press brake machines (Amada, Cincinnati, Trumpf, etc.)
Read blueprints, mechanical drawings, and job travelers
Select correct dies and tooling; adjust settings for precision
Perform first-article and in-process inspections
Use precision measuring tools (calipers, gauges, micrometers)
Collaborate with tooling and quality departments
Maintain high safety and quality standards
What You Bring:
2+ years of recent Press Brake Set-Up experience (not just operation)
Proficiency reading mechanical blueprints
Skilled in using micrometers, calipers, and other inspection tools
Experience with sheet metal or precision fabrication
Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work 8-hour shifts standing
High School Diploma or GED
