Maintenance Technician I – 2nd Shift (2:30pm–10:30pm)Join a dynamic team ensuring the efficient operation of high-speed processing and packaging equipment in a food manufacturing environment. This role focuses on troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs of mechanical and electrical systems essential to production.? Shift:
2nd Shift | 2:30 PM – 10:30 PM
? Experience Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of journey-level experience in electrical and heating equipment maintenance
Completion of apprentice-level electrical and mechanical training program with 2+ years of progressive experience (preferred)
HVAC Journeyman’s License preferred
Ability to read electrical schematics and manufacturer maintenance manuals
Knowledge and adherence to Lockout Tag Out (LOTO) procedures
Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of control systems
Effective troubleshooting skills for diagnosing electrical and mechanical issues
Comfortable with physical demands:
Climbing ladders (up to 35 ft)
Lifting/carrying up to 75 lbs with assistance
Bending, stooping, and working in awkward positions for extended periods
? Education:
High school diploma or GED required (or equivalent experience)
? Key Responsibilities:
Perform journey-level electrical work including installation, modification, and repair of:
Electrical systems
Commercial kitchen equipment
Pneumatic, hydraulic, robotic, and conveying systems
Troubleshoot and resolve malfunctions in processing equipment
Diagnose and repair HVAC systems under general supervision
Assemble, install, and maintain HVAC components and associated control systems
Test, calibrate, and adjust mechanical and electrical systems
Accurately complete maintenance records, work orders, and task documentation
Conduct routine facility tours and safety inspections
Operate tools, power equipment, and testing devices safely and in compliance with company policies
