Position: Order SelectorLocation: Orlando, FLPay Rate: $17.00 per hourSchedule: Monday - Friday 5am - 1:30pmTraining Schedule: Monday - Friday 9am - 6pm for the first 2 weeks We are currently hiring experienced Order Selectors for a fast paced warehouse environment in Orlando, FL. This is a temp to perm opportunity with a growing company. Candidates must have recent experience operating a double electric pallet jack and high reach equipment. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work as part of a team. Important Requirements
Candidates must have double electric pallet jack experience.
Reach truck and high reach experience are required.
Stand up equipment experience only. Sit down forklift experience alone will not qualify.
Must have at least 2 to 4 years of double electric pallet jack experience.
Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of warehouse order selecting experience.
Job Duties
Operate a double electric pallet jack and other assigned warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
Select customer orders from warehouse racking and floor locations.
Pick products from both lower and upper rack locations using high reach equipment.
Build pallets according to company standards and secure loads to prevent tipping or damage.
Apply labels using SOS label technology and ensure labels are placed correctly.
Stage completed pallets in the correct dock locations for loading.
Stretch wrap pallets before shipment.
Perform pre shift and post shift equipment inspections.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Follow all company safety procedures and sanitation requirements.
Assist with additional warehouse duties as assigned.
Work at a consistent pace to meet productivity and accuracy standards.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of warehouse order selecting experience.
Minimum 2 years of double electric pallet jack experience.
Experience operating reach trucks and working in high reach locations.
Ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds. Team lifts are required for items over 50 pounds.
Ability to work in a production driven environment with a strong sense of urgency.
Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed based on business demands.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
Basic math skills.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical warehouse work throughout the shift.
