We’re seeking a dependable Chemical Operator to join a fast-paced production team. This hands-on position involves mixing, packaging, and transporting chemicals in a safe, compliant environment. Candidates should be comfortable with physical labor and working in varied conditions.ScheduleC Shift: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
Will train on day shift (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM) before transitioning to nights Flexible training schedules
Key Responsibilities
Follow work orders or verbal instructions to determine materials and containers to move.
Load and unload materials using forklifts, tank trucks, and railcars.
Fill and package drums, totes, and pails while maintaining compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
Mix and blend both hazardous and non-hazardous chemicals per procedures.
Transport materials between storage, production, and staging areas.
Operate industrial trucks or hoists to move materials and products.
Assist with hazardous waste handling, inspection, and documentation when required.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum 6 months of related industrial, warehouse, or chemical experience.
Forklift certification preferred (training provided if needed).
Ability to follow written, verbal, and video-based instructions.
Strong problem-solving skills and basic math proficiency.
Physical Requirements
Lift/move up to 25 lbs regularly, 50 lbs frequently, and 75 lbs occasionally.
Stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch throughout the shift.
Work in outdoor conditions and around moderate-to-loud noise and chemical odors (PPE provided).
