Production Associate Location: Northwood, OH Pay: $17.50 per hour Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM Environment: Cold production facility (approx. 32°F) PPE: Steel toe boots required PRT Staffing is hiring Production Associates to support a seafood processing operation in Northwood, OH. This is a great opportunity for individuals looking to gain experience in a production environment with room to grow into additional responsibilities. Key Responsibilities • Move product carts between production and packing areas • Pack fish fillets into labeled/brand-specific boxes • Assist machine operators and master fish cutters with daily tasks • Repack product and prepare for shipment • Maintain cleanliness of work areas and remove debris/trash • Support staging and organization of raw materials • Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines • Assist in other areas of the production room as needed What to Expect • Entry-level start with light duties, increasing responsibilities as you learn • Team-oriented production environment • Fast-paced workflow with a focus on safety and efficiency Requirements • 0–3 years of production or warehouse experience • Ability to work in a cold environment (32°F) • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs (as needed) • Ability to stand for extended periods • Strong teamwork and communication skills • High school diploma or equivalent preferred Dress Code • Sweatpants, jeans, hoodies – dress in layers for cold conditions Work Environment • Seafood/meat processing facility • Cold temperatures with continuous movement and standing • Safety-focused, production-driven setting If you are dependable, comfortable working in a cold environment, and ready to grow in a production role, apply today with PRT Staffing.
