Now Hiring – Shipping & Receiving Clerk! PRT Staffing is actively hiring an experienced Shipping & Receiving Clerk for a fast-paced cold storage warehouse operation in Baytown, TX. This is an in-office administrative role supporting warehouse operations with strong attention to detail, accuracy, and communication. What You’ll Be Doing • Process inbound and outbound shipments • Verify shipping documents, BOLs, and inventory accuracy • Coordinate with warehouse and operations teams to ensure timely shipments • Enter and update data in warehouse management systems • Track inventory and resolve discrepancies • Communicate with drivers, carriers, and internal teams • Maintain accurate records and documentation
Work Environment • Office-based role inside a cold storage warehouse setting • Exposure to: o Cooler (~30°F) o Freezer (~15°F) • Fast-paced, deadline-driven environment supporting warehouse operations
What We’re Looking For Required: • Previous shipping & receiving experience • Strong data entry and computer skills • High attention to detail and accuracy • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment • Reliable transportation and strong attendance Preferred: • Experience in warehouse or cold storage operations • Familiarity with WMS systems or shipping software • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
