Position SummaryThe Warehouse Associate is responsible for safely lifting, sorting, handling, loading, and unloading heavy appliances freight from trailers, containers, and trucks using a Hand Truck. This role involves the use of material handling equipment and requires attention to safety, accuracy, and efficiency. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Operate material handling equipment (hand trucks, pallet jacks)
Load and unload freight from trailers, containers, and trucks
Work with multiple departments to meet daily operational demands
Communicate any loading/unloading issues to supervisors promptly
Participate in daily inventory counts, audits, and discrepancy resolution
Maintain punctuality, reliability, and a strong work ethic
Learn and adapt to new systems, processes, and technology
Perform all assigned job duties as required by operational needs
Minimum Qualifications
Strong communication skills
Ability to work well in a team environment
Attention to detail
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Willingness to work overtime as needed
Preferred Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED preferred
Previous warehouse or material handling experience a plus
